17 May 2022: Whampoa Dockyard

Although a residential centre today, the Whampoa area was once one of the largest shipyards in Asia. The Admiralty Dock drydock is now the basement of the Aeon shopping centre, and the docks were bombarded by the Japanese in the early hours of the Battle of #HongKong.
